The story of photographer B\u00e1rbara Lanzat began at the age of 8, when her father's brother, also a photographer, gave her a camera as a gift on the day of her First Communion. After studying Audiovisual Communication, she decided to turn her childhood hobby into her profession.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\u201cLa Lumi\u00e8re de l\u2019\u00c2me\u201d is a vision of the world, a way of understanding how it is organized and what place the human being occupies within it. REMED\u2019s work connects with collective memory and with a shared consciousness that situates us as part of a greater whole.<\/p>\n

Within his visual universe, a distinct territory takes shape where a sensitive order emerges: a system of meaning revealed through an intimate, coherent, and recognizable language that runs throughout his entire body of work. This vision is built from the origin. Woman appears as a primordial archetype, a creative principle. The body is presented as a threshold where life begins and as a sphere of containment where consciousness resides and interacts temporarily with matter before returning to the origin. Woman is the source: the place where the beginning dwells. Within her, the memory of life is concentrated.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><\/div>

ART U READY returns during ARCO week for its tenth year. The artistic duo ELIURPI, formed by Elisabet Urp\u00ed and Nacho Umpi\u00e9rrez, return to Madrid with a new exhibition.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is inspired by the philosophical concept of kinesis<\/em>, proposing a dialogue between two artistic disciplines: textile sculpture and photography. The show reflects on movement as an inherent quality of matter and of the continuous becoming of being. In the hylozoist thought of the Milesians, by considering everything that exists as a living being endowed with movement, kinesis<\/em> appears as an intrinsic property of matter, taking on the dual meaning of movement and change.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Guillaume ALBY, aka REMED (Paris, 1978. Lives in Suances, Cantabria). Remed\u2019s work has a unique and immediately recognizable quality, both in its micro and macro manifestations. He seeks to find truth through simplicity, using a universal language of form and color. He has led graffiti workshops in schools and social institutions for children, notably including his work at the Children\u2019s Museum of the Arts in New York in 2011. His style is inimitable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n

\r\n\r\nHe has participated in both solo and group exhibitions around the world. Murals bearing his signature can be found across four continents. His was the first exhibition with which we launched in 2016, and we are commemorating these ten years with a new show by the artist, now fully established.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

ELIURPI<\/a><\/h2>

Elisabet Urp\u00ed and Nacho Umpi\u00e9rrez are an artistic duo who work together and share a way of life, both professionally and personally. Under the name ELIURPI, they began in 2010 creating unique pieces in the form of objects and hats. They are multidisciplinary artists, with a highly defined aesthetic that is consistent with their values.\r\n\r\nIn 2020, their sculptural works began to be acquired by international fashion and art collectors. This opened up a new paradigm and perspective toward the future.
